Digital Rental Agreement

To ensure a seamless and contactless pickup experience at Norfolk International Airport, our full, legally binding Rental Agreement is provided digitally during the checkout process via our secure Fleetwire booking portal.

What’s Required Before Pickup

• Proof of liability, collision, and comprehensive auto insurance (uploaded during digital check-in)
• Valid driver’s license (renter must be at least 25 years old)
• Credit card for security deposit hold
• Acceptance of the digital Rental Agreement provided by Fleetwire

Key Rental Terms

A plain-English summary of the terms most people ask about before booking.

• The renter and every additional driver must be at least 25 years old and hold a valid driver’s license. Only authorized drivers listed on the agreement may operate the vehicle.
• You must provide proof of primary motor vehicle liability, collision and comprehensive insurance covering you, us and the vehicle. ORF Jeep Rental does not sell insurance.
• The rental begins and ends at the times set out in your reservation. A late return is charged at $75 for each hour or part of an hour.
• Approved Outer Banks beach driving is allowed subject to the vehicle-specific instructions we provide, local law, posted and seasonal closures, tides, weather and the rental agreement.
• Reckless or wanton misconduct, driving in prohibited areas, and use of the vehicle in violation of law or the agreement are not allowed and remove our waiver of damage claims.
• Contact Beach 4x4 before attempting any vehicle recovery. Third-party recovery, towing and storage charges are the renter’s responsibility.
• The vehicle is supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full. A $100 fuel charge applies if it is returned with less fuel than when rented.
• You are responsible for all parking, traffic and toll violations, fines, citations, penalties and related charges incurred during the rental.
• A cleaning fee of up to $350 may apply if the vehicle is returned substantially less clean than when rented.
• You are responsible for damage to or loss of the vehicle, including the insurance deductible, our administrative costs and loss of use.
• Cancellations more than 72 hours before the rental receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations within 72 hours are charged one day’s rental.
• A refundable security-deposit hold is taken at booking. We may apply the deposit to any amounts owed under the agreement. The amount and timing are shown in the Fleetwire checkout before payment.
