Who We Are
Beach 4×4 LLC was founded by Bret Doman, a Kill Devil Hills local with deep roots in Outer Banks beach culture and 4WD driving. After years of watching visitors struggle with traditional rental cars that couldn’t access Carova Beach or navigate soft sand, Bret built a rental service built around the actual needs of OBX beach drivers.
We operate a small, carefully maintained fleet of Jeep Wrangler 4WDs and full-size 4WD SUVs — every vehicle is personally prepped for beach driving, permitted for both Currituck (Corolla/Carova) beach access and Cape Hatteras National Seashore ORV use, and stocked with recovery gear before your pickup.
